How do I get funding?

Unfortunately, most Stations adopt the "chicken and egg" approach to funding: you can receive funding once you prove the club is viable, but how do you prove the club is viable without funding?

In order to assist you, RAFFU have 3 Starter kits which can be loaned to Unit for a 6 month period. Once you have established a core membership using the Starter kit equipment, you should be able to approach your Unit P Ed O for support. Ensure you emphasise that the Starter kit has to be returned to RAFFU.

Results are also a good way of securing funding. Many Units do not enjoy sporting success, so make sure that anything your Club or Club members win is highlighted to the Unit P Ed O. For fledgling clubs, the Junior Championships are an ideal opportunity for early success.
